To setup any of the MapMy series of apps to sync data to your Motion Connected account refer to the instructions below. Motion Connected does not directly integrate with MapMyFitness so it must first be setup to sync data to Apple Health or Google Fit were it can then be accessed and pulled into your account from the mobile app.
Apple Health (iPhone users)
- Open the MapMy app and tap the three dots in the bottom right. Select Settings, then scroll all the way down and select Apple Permissions.
- Tap the toggle next to Apple Health to enable. If you see a pop-up asking for permission to access Health, tap OK.
- Install the Motion Connected App - tap the three dots then settings. Toggle on the link to Apple Health (iPhone). Data that has synced to Apple Health will now sync to your Motion Connected account every time you open the Motion Connected app.
Google Fit
- Open the MapMy app and tap the menu icon in the top left of the screem
- Scroll down and select "Settings."
- On the Settings page, scroll down until you see Google Fit, tap to toggle "on" and enable sharing between the two apps.
- Install the Motion Connected App - tap the three dots then settings. Tap sign in with Google, sign into your Google account and enable activity tracking(Android). Data that has synced to Google Fit will now sync to your Motion Connected account every time you open the Motion Connected app.
