Linking Google Fit to EHP Healthy Choice


With version 2.3.4 (or higher) of the EHP Healthy Choice app, you are able to link directly to the Google Fit app downloaded to your Android phone.  For Apple Health (iPhone phones) click here.

To sync activity data from Google Fit to your EHP Healthy Choice account, download and install the EHP Healthy Choice App from the  Google Play  store.  

After the EHP Healthy Choice and Google Fit apps have been downloaded, follow the directions below to link to Google Fit. 
  1. Open the EHP app and sign in using your EHP Healthy choice login credentials.
  2. Tap the three dots at the bottom to access the menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Toggle on "Link Google Fit" 
    1. You will then be asked to approve any necessary permissions and choose the google account to use for accessing your Google Fit data.
  5. Tap on the Link Device tab in the menu (three dots), and make sure that the Use App option has been selected.
  6. Open your EHP Healthy Choice app regularly (we recommend at least once per week). With the Google Fit connection enabled, your data will sync to your EHP account every time you open the EHP Healthy Choice app.  You can also manually sync data (within the last 30 days) by tapping the Sync button on the settings page of the app. If the app is running in the background, it will attempt to sync new data every 15 minutes. Data will not sync if the app is closed completely.
