Linking Google Fit to EHP Healthy Choice

Link Google Fit to Healthy Choice with the EHP Healthy Choice app (version 2.3.4 or higher) on Android phones. Google Fit tracks activity using sensors in your phone but can also be used to pull activity data from other apps/devices.*


Before getting started, ensure that the EHP Healthy Choice and Google Fit apps are installed on your phone. 

1. Set up your Google Fit account. Make note of the Google account/email address you choose to set the account up with (if you have multiple). 

2. Open the Healthy Choice app and sign in (if prompted) using your Healthy Choice login credentials.

3. Tap the three dots at the bottom to open the menu. Select Settings and toggle on "Link Google Fit."



4. When asked to select an account, choose the same Google account/email address you used to set up Google Fit. On the next page, hit Continue.



5. Open the menu again and select Link Device. Under "Use Our Mobile App", hit the Use App button.



With the Google Fit connection enabled, any new data from the past 30 days will sync to your Healthy Choice account each time you open the EHP Healthy Choice app. You can also manually sync data by tapping the SYNC ACTIVITY DATA button on the Settings page of the app. Data does not sync while the app is closed. 

*If linking a Garmin or Fitbit device, link your device directly by going to the Link Device page in your Healthy Choice account.
