Linking Google Fit to EHP Healthy Choice

Linking Google Fit to EHP Healthy Choice

Link Google Fit to Healthy Choice with the EHP Healthy Choice app (version 2.3.4 or higher) on Android phones. Google Fit tracks activity using sensors in your phone but can also be used to pull activity data from other apps/devices.*

Before getting started, ensure that the EHP Healthy Choice and Google Fit apps are installed on your phone.

1. If you haven't set up your Google Fit account yet, complete the set up in the Google Fit app. Make note of the Google account/email address you choose to set the account up with (if you have multiple).

2. Open the Healthy Choice app and sign in if prompted using your Healthy Choice login credentials.

3. Tap the three dots at the bottom to open the menu. Select Settings and tap on "Sign-in with Google."

4. Select the email address associated with your Google Fit account and approve any requested permissions.

5. Toggle on "Enable Activity Tracking" and tap Sync Now.

6. Open the menu again (3 dots) and select Link Device. Under "Use Our Mobile App", tap the Use App button.

7. Open the Healthy Choice app regularly to automatically sync data from Google Fit and tap the Dashboard icon  at the bottom to view your activity data.

Please note: with the Google Fit connection enabled, the last 30 days of data will sync to Healthy Choice each time you open the Healthy Choice app. Data does not sync while the app is closed.

*If linking a Garmin or Fitbit device, please link your device directly by going to the Link Device page in your Healthy Choice account.
