Have a non-supported device and you want to use that instead of getting a new one?
While we don't support (can't provide assistance with) the method below you may still be able to get your activity data into our platform. This option may not work for you depending on settings chosen by your group or organization.
The best option at this time to use a non supported device with our system is to use the Health Sync app to connect your device's activity app (ie Samsung Health) to a Fitbit account which would then be linked with our system.
This is done following this procedure:
- setup the Fitbit app (optional) with a Fitbit account(required)
- Install Health Sync
- Configure Health Sync to send data from your activity app to Fitbit
- link your Fitbit account to Motion Connected.
The Health Sync app does have an 8 day free trial then it charges after that, but it's very minimal $0.99 for 6 months or unlimited for $2.99.
